Stockist of the Month: Grouch Coffee

Grouch coffee began as a Tuk Tuk travelling around the UK offering great-tasting, speciality coffee. Owner Kelly now has her own shop in Gloucestershire where she continues to sell delicious coffee, freshly baked goods and, of course, wonderful H!P bars. Kelly prioritises sustainability as well as championing great coffee and we love everything about her amazing store. 

1. Tell us about the beginning of Grouch Coffee and the inspiration behind it.

Grouch Coffee started as a one woman run business on a mobile coffee van. Oscar the Tuk Tuk travelled with owner Kelly across the Cotswolds serving speciality coffee at events, shows and corporate gigs. The aim was to bring speciality "proper coffee" to the Cotswolds where it was lacking. Moving to a bricks and mortar shop in March 2021, Kelly took on two members of staff - Amelia and Elizabeth - to continue to strive to be all that Grouch Coffee embodies: kick ass coffee served with a smile. 

2. How do you picture the future of plant-based living?

The offering will get even stringer as more people lean towards a better lifestyle.

3. What is your go-to coffee order?

Espresso. Double. Job done.

4. What are the three principal values you champion as a company?

Outstanding customer service; familiarity and remembering customers' drinks orders; and sustainability in products and packaging. 

5. Lastly, which is your favourite H!P bar?

Salty Pretzel. Hands down.
