I want to find out more about H!P chocolate

HiP uses vegan friendly ingredients throughout our products.

Our products are made on machinery which may process milk, soy, eggs, peanuts, gluten, sesame seeds and other nuts.

For more info on allergens, please read the product descriptions on our website.

The chocolate uses gluten-free oats, however some recipes use inclusions which have gluten in so its best to check the individual bars.

All of our recipes are nut-free, however our factory does handle nuts so we can't guarantee this.

Because of this our products are not suitable for nut allergy sufferers.

We don't use palm oil in making our chocolate. We do source some inclusions externally which contain palm oil, such as the pretzels and cookies in the Salty Pretzel and Cookies No Cream bars. We aim to eliminate the use of palm oil in all our products, and have started looking into suppliers who can supply these inclusions without palm oil, however initial quotes are for 5 tonnes, which would be a lot of chocolate bars! This isn’t currently possible at our stage and scale of the business, but we hope as we grow we will be able to make this change very soon!

We go above and beyond the fairtrade scheme, which is a little outdated with it’s high costs for farmers. You can read more about our sourcing policy here

We source our cacao from Colombia.

You are read more about it here.

Oat milk outperforms other plant milks on sustainability, healthiness and importantly taste - it's why our chocolate is so creamy!

You can read more about it here.

I have a question about H!P's packaging

Our outer packaging is made from recyclable cardboard.

The inner clear film is an eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap made out of wood pulp, which is compostible.

Yes, our packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic free!

The outer packaging is made from cardboard and is fully recyclable.

The inner clear film is made from wood pulp and can be put in the compost bin.
